Once the frost has begun, most of your summer plants will begin to die. November is a great month to clean out your beds and prepare for the winter

The leaves are falling at the Broadway & Alma garden and that means it’s time to start clearing out your dead and dying plants from your beds.

Summer is coming to close at the Broadway & Alma garden and fall will soon be here. Don’t forget to keep on watering your garden as you can still be harvesting up until the first frosts!

The heat has arrived at the Broadway and Alma garden. This means that for your plants to stay happy and healthy you will need to water them every day or two during these periods of hot weather.

Spring is here at the Broadway & Alma garden and the growing season is really starting to kick off. There is a lot of uncertainty circulating around the city due to COVID-19 and we have some new rules and guidelines to follow so we can all stay safe and continue to garden.

We have updated our gardening guidelines to respond to COVID-19, and we ask that everyone read through and follow this new protocol.

Winter is soon to be officially over as the first day of spring is March 19th. We’re exciting to get the 2020 growing season started and keen to see what you all will be growing!
